Hello,

I would like to build a HVP based on PICPgm USB programmer.
I have created a new entry in pgmifcfg.xml with "typ=HVP".

How should I connect the MCLR pin to the programmer?
I think I have to use a transistor to be able to switch the pin to 12V and also use a pulldown resistor. But after programming, MCLR would probably be LOW, so the PIC will be held in reset, is that correct?
Can I use the "advanced pin configuration" with "Pull MCLR Low"?
How does this work exactly? I am not able to switch that pin with "Hardware Test" in the configuration of the GUI.

Thank you.
