I have the Kee Electronics QL2005 USB programmer, and they haven't had any updates since 2007. They mention updating the on-board code to update the device list. Will the PICPgm work properly with this programmer, and what do I have to do to support it? I'm currently interested in using the 16F1825 processor, which is not supported with the current software for this programmer.

I decided to send it back to the seller, and look at what's listed here as possible projects, probably a much easier road.

Hi,

USB programmes (expept of my FTDI programmer) use some kind of proprietary protocol to communicate with the programmer which is not known by PICPgm, so that will not work. PICPgm just uses bit-banging to send the commands to the PIC.

Regards,
Christian
