PICPGM is an excellent pic programmer distributed freely.Is it an open source project ,Can its source code be obtained??

If you'd relase the source I could add the support for PIC18F45K50 myself. I don't think it is very different from similiar devices which are already supported.

Hi!

You are right, PIC18F45K50 is very similar to e.g. PIC18F14K50 as far as I have seen in a quick compare or the programming specs.
I have updated the code to support this device family.
Just give it a try. Download can be found here: http://picpgm.picprojects.net/download.html

Since I don't have this chip, it is currently not tested. So feedback would be great!
